Kidney Cancer

About Mrs. Sachiko Komura (60) of Miyagi Prefecture

Mrs. Komura of the Miyagi prefecture is now in the 7th year after she got relieved from kidney cancer, with no incidence re-proliferation. We listened to her story about when she suffered from this disease and what she had been doing until now.

“It was the end of March 1995, I urinated blood-mixed urine of dark wine color. Long ago, when I had a stone in urinary tract I had urinated light pink blood-mixed urine, but the present one was evidently a very different and bad looking thing. Even in this condition, I could not have a break from my job and hence visited the hospital after three days.

In the CT scan, a very clear dark shadow could be seen in one of the kidneys. But before the doctor could have talked about this cancer, I immediately asked, “how many centimeters this cancer is doctor?” “Should be around 4 to 5 millimeters, it would be better to operate out this kidney” replied the doctor. I accepted that entire situation with complete silence, and there was a reason for that. Around 20 years back, my elder sister had a breast cancer and she could overcome it, and I have been seeing her during all that process.

My sister was very much confused when she came to know about her cancer for the first time. While looking after my hospitalized sister, I had never just been sitting there but was desperately looking for something that I could do for her. In the hospital, once my eyes stopped at an article from Dr. Yahagi in a magazine named “A Housewife’s Friend”. I immediately managed to let my sister drink the Yahagi extract. After that, only radiotherapy was done once for a while but no anti-cancer drugs were administered at all. She has been continuously using the Yahagi extract since then.

Well, let’s come back to my own story. I am going to give here the complete time line of my actions since the day my tumor was detected until when I was discharged from the hospital.

[March 27, 1995] The tumor was detected in CT scan for the first time and a surgery was recommended.
[3rd day after discovery] I started drinking the Yahagi extract.
[5th day after discovery] The blood-mixed urine stopped.
[8th day after discovery] For surgery, I was moved to another hospital having the proper equipment. I secretly carried the extract with me.
[11th day after discovery] The tumor is once again confirmed in the MRI. A board of three doctors again recommended a surgery as the tumor was of quite bad nature. Though I was told that one kidney was sufficient, but I was feeling that the purpose of two could not be solved by one kidney and, if possible, I was unwilling to lose one kidney.
[12th day after discovery] I asked the doctor and somehow could manage to get a permission of living out, and returned home.
[13th day after discovery] Due to home sickness, I did not like to return to hospital and telephoned the hospital with a false excuse. I had been drinking 2 to 3 bottles of the extract daily and even in the night hours too. While drinking in the night hours, I felt as if the extract was directly soaking my kidneys. I have been boldly doing many things, that were impossible to do while in the hospital, like massaging with this extract, warming up the kidneys with Konyaku(devil’s tongue paste) pads etc.
[17th day after discovery] It was impossible to keep at a run and hence I had to return to the hospital after making up my mind. Once again, I went through the CT and MRI tests. What! the tumor that should have been there was totally out of the picture.

The doctor came to me with the films in his hands, “Mrs. Komura! very strange, the dark shadow has completely disappeared,” said the doctor with an inclined head, though there was no hospital treatment at all until now. I was asked for a blood vessels test, but because of the painful situation in that test, and due to the fact that the cancer had been wiped out, I was discharged from the hospital.

If I look back into the causes of this disease, I feel it was mainly because of the overwork that I had been doing. I had been standing daily for 10 hours at my job and because of being at a very responsible position there was a big stress too. Above that, it was impossible to take my meals properly and even go to toilet because of always dealing with the clients; hence I had been actually overloading my kidneys too. The body can not speak, but by bleeding out the red blood it tells that it is beyond the limits now.

Now I am a retired person and leading a relaxed life. Along with my elder sister, we are still using the Yahagi extract. Recently I felt that there was a lack of exercise and therefore I started the daily walk. Recently it is cherry blossom in Miyazaki and the spring peak.”
