The benignant elements in the Japanese Tohchukaso

The useful elements that are collected from the artificially cultivated Tohchukaso are classified by the time frame when they are extracted during its growth, and what are the solvents to be used for their extraction.

(1) The extract with water contains the substances that can destroy the cancer cells.

(2) The extracted matter has strong blood pressure descent action depending on the growth stage of Tohchukaso.

In this way, the Tohchukasu has various different elements but the main concern is centered on the anticancer substances of (1). Which element in the Japanese Tohchukaso might be destroying the cancer?

It is known that the Japanese Tohchukaso drops different metabolic substances into the cultural medium from its grass like part called the fruit (filial substance) during its growth process. These metabolic substances are regarded to contain the elements that attack the cancer.

●The reason why Japanese Tohchukaso is effective against cancer

Though it is our own deduction that, the following three elements in the extract of one type of Japanese Tohchukaso Hanasanagitake(Isaria japonica) may be thought to be the reason for its effectiveness against cancer.

(1) Cordycepin, the nucleic acid matter concerning genes

Cancer is the disease of genes. A normal gene suddenly changes its nature and causes an unlimited proliferation of cells with mutation. It is thought that Cordycepin activates in a gene and brings it back to the normal state.

(2) Polysaccharide that improves the immune forces

Polysaccharide is the multi-saccharine body well known to be an element to improve the immunity. Polysaccharide activates the thyroid (thymus) gland that instructs the body to generate an impulse against any foreign substance that enters the body. With instructions from the thymus gland, the killer T-cells or the ultimate weapon to drive out the cancer cells, called as the natural killer cells, start their activity and we generate a repulse against the cancer cells with our own immune forces.

(3) Ergosterol peroxide that has high anti-cancer effects

Ergosterol peroxide (a chemical component isolated by Mr. Yoshikazu Kondo, the former associate professor of Faculty of Pharmacy, Tohoku University) has effectiveness double than the widely used anti-cancer drug 5-FU. Even in very small amount, it has an ability to destroy the cancer cells. If pure Ergosterol peroxide extracted with alcohol is injected intravenously, this awesome chemical does not only destroy the cancer cells but the normal cells too, but it is known that if Japanese Tohchukaso is dispensed orally, this danger does not appear. Even being harmless, it is the salient feature of the Japanese Tohchukaso that it acts effectively against the cancer.

● The water-extracted Japanese Tohchukaso is of great use for human beings and harmless

One kind of Japanese Tohchukaso Hanasanagitake (we call it CY11) contains this Ergosterol peroxide. This substance, along with strong anti-cancer effects has a high level of toxicity, and it is proved in the animal experiments that along with cancer, it also destroys the healthy normal cells, and hence can be regarded as a very powerful substance (even very small quantity can destroy the muscle-making cells fibroblast). However, it is well known that there are no side or harmful effects on a human being after taking the Japanese Tohchukaso. Though it would seem that these two results contrdict but actually it is not like that. But the main point to emphasize here is the difference of the mice being injected with the alcohol-extracted drug while the human beings dispensed with the oral dose of the water-extracted one. We can think of this difference in the human beings having a function in their mouth and the digestive system to absorb the necessary things only while rejecting the toxic ones. Talking of having this function or not, but it seems that there is a difference in quantity that is absorbed into the body through the stomach and intestine compared with the one that is entered into the body through the veins directly. Moreover, it was also though that perhaps there was some problem with the use of alcohol, a solvent to dissolve only some specific elements, in the injections to the mice. In the metabolic fluids of liquid cultivation, there are various unknown low molecular weight chemical compounds. It is just like a soup of various effective elements dissolved in it. In this soup, there is Polysaccharide that influences the actions of the immune cells like the T-cells and the natural killer cells by stimulating the thymus gland, and also the Cordycepin that is thought to normalize the cancer genes that have started their run-over actions. And, the digestive system, acting as a filter, is thought to take the necessary elements out of this delicately blended soup and excrete the unnecessary things.
